Key Responsibilities:

As a Bartender, your duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Arriving on time and dressed in the appropriate uniform as per the schedule.
  • Following event-specific instructions provided by the Banquet Captain or Catering Manager.
  • Welcoming and engaging with guests warmly and enthusiastically.
  • Serving alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
  • Providing accurate information to guests regarding food and beverage options.
  • Assisting in the collection and return of bar equipment, including glassware and serving items.
  • Preparing garnishes and specialty drinks as needed.
  • Helping set up and prepare the event space.
  • Arranging tables with place settings as directed.
  • Participating in pre-event meetings to understand event details.
  • Delivering the highest level of service to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Identifying drink orders and delivering them promptly to tables.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
  • Collaborating with food and beverage staff to enhance guest experiences.
  • Reporting any guest concerns to the Manager or Banquet Captain.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues.
  • Adhering to checklists and standard operating procedures.
  • Keeping the work area safe, clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Staying informed about menus, recipes, and other relevant information.
  • Continuously expanding knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
  • Ensuring guests have memorable experiences at events.
  • Upholding sanitation and proper food handling practices.
  • Preparing the work area for opening, mid-shift, or closing as per company guidelines.
  • Breaking down tables and equipment post-event and returning items to storage.
  • Punching in on time, fully prepared to work.
  • Completing other assigned tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with guests.
  • Capability to manage high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding English.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a serving role.
Certifications:

Must be TIPS or TEAM Certified.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.
