Overview

As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will work closely with therapists and nursing staff to assist individuals recovering from brain and spinal cord injuries. Your role will be vital in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Work Schedule: 6:45 p.m. - 7:15 a.m.
Employment Status: Full Time

Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience, with a minimum hourly rate starting at $18.00.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Facilitate transportation for patients to medical appointments and community activities.
  • Support rehabilitation therapists in executing patient care activities.
  • Carry out nurse-delegated tasks after completing necessary training, which may include taking vital signs and medication administration.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support patient care.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid State Driver's License in good standing is required.
  • Completion of Certified BLS training is mandatory; refer to CPR Requirement Guidelines for new hires.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in Neuro Rehabilitation is preferred.
  • Experience as a Therapy or Rehabilitation Aide is advantageous.
  • Certification as a Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medication Aide is preferred.
