EVS Technician

ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital is seeking a skilled EVS Technician to join our team. As an EVS Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment for our patients and staff.

• Execute daily duties to establish and maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, common areas, and equipment.
• Adhere to organizational safety, risk management, and infection control guidelines and standards.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives to improve patient experience and cleanliness metrics.
• Maintain cleaning carts, supplies, and equipment in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Remove trash and other waste and transport to the appropriate disposal area.

• High School Diploma or equivalent desired.
• Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) and/or Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician (CSCT) desired.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies as needed.
