Position Overview

Delva Tool & Machine (DTM), a proud member of the CMT family, is currently seeking a CMM Programmer. This role is essential for developing, maintaining, and generating programs for coordinate measuring machines (CMM) that are crucial for inspecting and verifying production materials and components. If you possess a strong work ethic and a passion for excellence, this position could be an excellent fit for you.

*The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The salary range for this role is between $80,000 and $95,000 annually, based on experience.*

Key Responsibilities

  • Program CMM machines effectively.
  • Maintain accurate programming files on the server.
  • Operate CMM machines and uphold instructions for part setup and inspection.
  • Provide recommendations for programming adjustments and product calibration to enhance processes.
  • Interpret blueprints, models, evaluation sheets, manuals, and other documentation to ascertain specifications, inspection protocols, testing procedures, and certification methods.
  • Gather and analyze inspection data, performing necessary calculations to determine inspection outcomes and conducting first article inspections.
  • Clearly communicate inspection results, part statuses, updates, and specific instructions to team members, and engage in Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities.
  • Develop quality documentation and requirements for production processes to meet customer reliability goals using High QA software.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to established safety protocols and systems.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A two-year associate degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in CNC Manufacturing Quality Control is required.
  • At least 2 years' experience with Zeiss Calypso software is essential.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100 and relevant quality standards is necessary.
  • Proficient in conducting tests to ensure compliance with established quality specifications.
  • Skilled in planning and developing standards, procedures, and best practices to guarantee product quality.
