Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Real Estate Property Supervisor to oversee operations in a dynamic property management environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing residential properties and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage all team members in alignment with property and organizational policies.
  • Oversee all facets of tenant occupancy and leasing, including marketing strategies, tenant screening, lease agreements, and resident retention while adhering to equal housing opportunity laws and local regulations.
  • Conduct annual resident re-certifications promptly and in accordance with HUD and relevant state guidelines.
  • Manage all aspects of tenant move-ins and move-outs, with a focus on thorough inspections.
  • Collect rental payments and address any delinquent accounts effectively.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained living environment for all residents.
  • Report any accidents or emergencies to the Managing Agent without delay and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Ensure maintenance requests are addressed within a 24-hour timeframe, communicating any delays to residents.
  • Document any property deficiencies and take timely corrective actions within budgetary limits.
  • Process daily bank deposits accurately.
  • Maintain precise payroll records, including attendance, and submit bi-weekly payroll to the Managing Agent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in managing HUD and/or tax credit multi-family properties is essential.

A high school diploma or GED is required, along with three to five years of relevant site management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficiency in computer applications is necessary, preferably with Yardi, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

Strong communication and mathematical skills are essential.

An assertive demeanor is advantageous.
