Job Summary

MetaSense Inc is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the coordination of patient care, including planning and implementing patient care plans in collaboration with registered nurses and other healthcare team members.
  • Implement patient care, including creating and maintaining asepsis, performing scrubbing duties, and communicating patient information to relevant personnel.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, healthcare team members, patients, and visitors.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to the development of a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Surgical Technology or related field.
  • Current certification in Surgical Technology through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
  • 1 year of clinical operating room experience, preferably in a CVOR or vascular setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, move, or carry up to 50 pounds, and to stand for long periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
