About the PositionWe are currently soliciting applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant, associate, or full professor level. The successful candidate will have a strong research program focused on preclinical animal MRI, with a proven track record of securing external funding and publishing high-impact research. The ideal candidate will also have a passion for teaching and mentoring students, as well as a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead a vibrant research program in preclinical animal MRI, with a focus on synergies with existing departmental strengths
- Secure external funding to support research initiatives and grow the department's research portfolio
- Teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students, with a focus on creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Contribute to departmental service and outreach efforts, including participation in faculty governance and community engagement
The successful candidate will hold a doctoral degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent) in engineering, medicine, applied mathematics, computer science, or the natural sciences. A strong track record of research productivity, teaching experience, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion are essential.
