Position Summary:
As a Technical Consultant, you will play a crucial role in managing the technical dimensions of LNG, Gas, and Power ETRM portfolios. Your collaboration with various stakeholders will be essential in delivering effective IT solutions that align with Shell's coding standards. You will serve as a Technical Expert and Lead in the Openlink Endur solution, operating in a dynamic and diverse environment that requires strong engagement and adaptability, particularly in virtual team settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive technical support for Endur and its related interfaces, participating in both project work and business-as-usual activities.
- Engage in Requirement Analysis, Solution Design & Implementation, and Unit Testing.
- Coordinate with stakeholders for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sign-off and oversee Production deployment and Post-Production support.
- Actively contribute to design discussions and implementations, driving enhancements and facilitating change management communication.
- Lead development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions within established timelines.
- Collaborate with diverse business and IT stakeholders to advocate for streamlined enterprise processes and information standardization, ensuring compliance with IT procedures and policies.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in Endur projects, demonstrating expertise in managing end-to-end trade lifecycle processes.
- A profound understanding of the energy and commodity trading landscape, including Oil, Gas, Power, LNG, or other commodities.
- Expertise in various aspects such as Managers, Configurations, Deal setup, Connex framework, and Reporting.
- A systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving, with a keen attention to detail.
- A proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Mandatory experience with Agile Development methodologies.
- A comprehensive understanding of business process improvement, risk management, and the software development lifecycle.
- The capability to mentor junior team members, fostering a robust capability center focused on high-quality and timely delivery.
- Proficiency in leading multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful delivery of outcomes within set timelines.
The base salary range for this position is $146,000 - $218,000 per year, influenced by factors such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skill level, seniority, and internal equity. Shell offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, and participation in a company pension plan and a 401(k) plan. Employees are entitled to up to 6 weeks of paid vacation, 11 paid holidays, and parental leave, along with additional support for disability leave and other compensation options.
