Job Description

The LNG Pipeline Development SME will play a key role in optimizing pipeline infrastructure and development strategies, working closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert knowledge and guidance on LNG pipeline design, construction, and operation.
  • Lead technical evaluations and assessments of pipeline systems, including feasibility studies and risk assessments.
  • Develop and maintain best practices, standards, and procedures for LNG pipeline development.
  • Oversee and support the planning, design, and execution of LNG pipeline projects from conception through commissioning.
  • Ensure that project milestones are met on time and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and challenges.
  • Ensure all pipeline development activities comply with industry regulations, environmental standards, and safety requirements.
  • Stay updated on relevant codes, standards, and regulations, and incorporate them into project plans and practices.
  • Contribute to the strategic development and optimization of LNG pipeline infrastructure, including capacity expansion and technology enhancements.
  • Analyze market trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, and community representatives.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, reports, and documentation to various stakeholders.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers and technical staff on LNG pipeline development practices and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or related field). Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in LNG pipeline development, including project management, design, and construction.
  • Extensive knowledge of LNG pipeline systems, including engineering principles, construction methods, and operational considerations.
  • Strong understanding of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
