Job Summary:
The Security Receptionist is responsible for managing the front desk operations, ensuring the safety and security of staff and donors, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the front desk operations, including registering new donors and conducting routine security checks
- Provide on-site support for Security Management initiatives to ensure the safety of on-site staff and donors
- Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, donors, vendors, and other people to maintain security of the premises
- Handle emergencies according to protocols and standard operating procedures
Requirements:
- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (must provide documentation)
- Ability to read and write English and proficiency in computer operations
- 2+ years of previous reception and security experience preferred
- De-escalation training a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Read computer screens, procedure manuals, and other documents
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Lift, pull, tug up to 50+ pounds with or without assistance at times
- Regularly required use hands and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with the hands and arms
