Job Description

This Chip Testing Technician position involves working closely with our optical engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of our PICs. You will perform tool calibration, data recording, and basic tool maintenance, while also troubleshooting any issues that may arise. Enablence USA Components Inc. is a market-leading manufacturer of innovative integrated optical products for the communications, metaverse, and bio-chemical sensing industries. Our technology center has successfully developed PICs used for data center, telecom, VR, LIDAR, and other sensing sub-assembly and module products. We are headquartered in Ottawa, Canada, and have set up R&D and manufacturing facilities in the USA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tool Calibration and Data Recording: Perform tool calibration, record data into corresponding files or database, and maintain tools in good working condition.
  • Troubleshooting: Report any failures or anomalies to optical engineers or supervisor and assist in resolving issues.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized work environment and prepare chips for shipping as required.
Requirements
  • Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in using MS Word, Excel, and other office software.
  • Shift Work: Ability to work different shifts, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
  • Part-time/Full-time: Willingness to work part-time or full-time schedules.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and 401(k) plan, we also offer paid time off and opportunities for professional growth and development.
