Job Description

Lennar is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Land Development to oversee the field operations and personnel of the land development department.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of land development strategies and market trends, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee projects from permit approvals through construction and final certification
  • Ensure timely and accurate design and installation of land development improvements
  • Manage field personnel and coordinate project activities between field and administration
  • Develop and implement land development budgets and schedules
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, accounting, finance, or similar field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in land development, with at least 5 years in a management role
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in computer literacy, including word-processing, spreadsheet analysis, project scheduling, and data management software
  • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing
