Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Regency Hospitals. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for preparing patients for diagnostic procedures, operating imaging equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning them for optimal image capture.
  • Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
  • Understand and complete necessary requisitions for ordered exams in a timely manner.
  • Perform diagnostic Radiographic/Fluoroscopic/CT exams on patients in the department and with portable equipment.
  • Identify equipment failures and diagnose general problems with radiographic machines and processors.
  • Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and transporting patients as needed.
  • Order necessary supplies and maintain par levels.
  • Attend required in-services and orientations.
Qualifications
  • At least three years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and hold current state license.
  • Must have ARRT or CMRT certification.
  • Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.
