CAMBA's Cure Violence Program is dedicated to creating safer communities for everyone. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Social Worker to join our team in Brooklyn, NY.

Job Overview:

The Social Worker will work closely with community members, law enforcement personnel, and public officials to develop and implement effective strategies to reduce gun violence. They will provide counseling services to clients and their families, as well as work with local partners to promote community-based solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement counseling services for clients and their families
  • Collaborate with program staff to develop and implement effective interventions
  • Work with local partners to promote community-based solutions

Requirements:

  • Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW or LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
  • 2 years' experience working with urban youth (preferably in Brownsville)
  • Strong knowledge of the Brownsville community

What We Offer:

  • $75,000 - $90,000 annually
