Position Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team at Mathnasium of Chino South. As a Math Instructor/Tutor, you will play a crucial role in fostering a love for math among students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver instruction and tutoring using the Mathnasium Method and associated teaching techniques
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide tailored educational experiences in a group setting
  • Evaluate students' progress and engagement during sessions
  • Utilize digital educational tools and resources effectively
  • Maintain a safe and professional learning atmosphere

Qualifications:

  • A genuine passion for mathematics and working with students
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • A willingness to learn and adapt
  • Proficiency in mathematics at least through Algebra I
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • All candidates must complete a math literacy assessment to verify their proficiency, provide proof of work eligibility, and pass a background screening.
