 Serve as the primary liaison for customers regarding Quality issues, Quality initiatives, and escalations, either directly or through designated personnel.
 Supervise a team of Quality Engineers and Specialists.
 Direct the acquisition and maintenance of Business Unit certifications, approvals, and agreements.
 Ensure adherence to the Division Quality System and engage in its ongoing enhancement.
 Manage the internal audit program, including the scheduling and execution of audits.
 Oversee Supplier Quality through Receiving Inspection and Corrective Action processes.
 Ensure the implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning in new projects.
 Responsible for the Quality documentation necessary to support Business Unit operations (internal guidelines and records) and required by clients (Quality Plans).
 Evaluate and implement customer Quality specifications.
 Establish metrics to assess Business Unit performance: customer satisfaction, internal review processes, supplier effectiveness.
 Document inconsistencies, recommend improvements to prevent recurrence, and track progress.
 Provide internal reports on Quality issues: metrics, Business Unit Executive Committee updates, Management Reviews, and internal communication efforts.
 Educate teams on Quality principles, the Quality System, and relevant Quality tools.
 Manage and uphold the Safety Management System.
 Deliver status updates and metric reports to the North American Quality Director, Division Quality Manager, and/or the site General Manager as required.
 Additional hours may be necessary during peak business periods or to meet seasonal deadlines.
 May undertake other related responsibilities as assigned by management.
 Comply with safe work practices and contribute to the development of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture.

Job Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
 A Bachelor's Degree or Associate's degree in Engineering, Science, Mechanical or Electrical fields, or a related area of study.
 A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality role.
 Proven leadership experience.

Knowledge/Skills

• Comprehensive understanding of AS/EN 9100 standards and customer Quality requirements.

• Strong familiarity with AS9145 standards.

• Knowledge of Safety Management Systems is advantageous.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Solid grasp of Quality principles and tools, including auditing techniques.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
 None

Preferred Skills/Qualifications :

• 2 years of management experience in a team setting.

• Green Belt Certification or Black Belt Certification.

• Familiarity with 14 CFR Part 21 and Part 145.

• Aerospace industry experience is preferred.

This role will oversee a team of 6 individual contributors, including Quality Engineers, Quality Specialists, and Inspectors.
This position will also be responsible for managing a budget.
