Hospice Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at our 12-bed Hospice House in Newton. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to patients and their families, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position offering a competitive salary, excellent benefits package, and paid time off. You will work three, 12-hour shifts per week, every other weekend, from 7:00pm to 7:00am. Night shift positions offer an additional $4/hour shift differential.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care in compliance with the Carolina Caring Visit Model.
- Identify patient/caregiver needs, develop goals, and provide supportive care in accordance with the attending physician's orders and the interdisciplinary team plan of care.
- Manage the plan of care by assessing, implementing, and evaluating the services provided to each patient.
- Assess patients, record significant conditions and reactions, and notify supervisors or physicians of patient conditions, reactions to treatments, and significant incidents.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
- Current, unrestricted North Carolina nursing license required.
- Must maintain CPR certification.
- One to three years clinical experience required. Hospice or home health care experience preferred.
