Job Summary

As a Cardiac Rehab Nurse with Swedish Health Services, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from cardiac events and manage their conditions. This is a per diem opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care to patients with cardiac conditions, including those with heart failure, coronary artery disease, and cardiac arrhythmias.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patients' medical history, lifestyle, and goals.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including cardiologists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on managing cardiac conditions, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and stress reduction techniques.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Washington State Registered Nurse License.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • At least one year of experience in cardiac rehabilitation or a related field.
