Job Description: Senior IT Systems Engineer II
The Senior IT Systems Engineer will be responsible for the implementation, administration, and operation of the Windows Server platform and operating system environments used at Rocket Lab. These platforms and operating systems include VMware, Kubernetes, Linux, Windows Server, and Client. Key responsibilities will be to enable Rocket Lab engineers globally by leveraging the latest platform technology to design, manufacture, and manage the next generation of rockets and space systems.
Key Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in IT with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience in a platform-focused technology role
- Strong knowledge of one or more of the following: VMware, Windows, Configuration Management, Automation
