Position Overview: The Food and Beverage Server is responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests by taking food and drink orders, serving meals, and ensuring a delightful dining experience.

Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to lift and carry items weighing between 20-40 pounds throughout an eight-hour shift.
  • Ability to balance a serving tray while transferring food orders.
  • Must stand and walk continuously for the duration of the shift.
  • Capability to bend, stoop, and reach for items as needed.
  • Ability to work in varying temperature environments, including cold storage and hot cooking areas.
  • Comfortable working in noisy environments, such as during special performances or with kitchen equipment.
  • Visual acuity to read menus, take orders, and navigate the dining area effectively.
  • Must be available to work various shifts and schedules as required.
Qualifications:
  • Possession of a California Food Handler Certificate.
  • Previous experience in a serving role is preferred.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Mandarin and Spanish is a plus.

  • Ensure tables are clean and set with necessary utensils and napkins, anticipating guest needs.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu to assist guests with inquiries and recommendations.

  • Verify that food is prepared to the correct specifications and rectify any issues with the kitchen.
  • Deliver outstanding service to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Process customer checks and handle payments efficiently.
  • Assist with additional restaurant tasks, including cleaning and preparation of dining areas.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Essential Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Dedicated work ethic with a focus on teamwork and communication.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to accurately take and place orders.
  • Proficient in operating point-of-sale systems.
  • Must obtain a California Food Handler Certificate.
