  3. Preventative Maintenance: Conduct preventative maintenance tasks, such as inspecting equipment and replacing worn parts.
  4. Diagnostic Skills: Diagnose issues with heavy equipment and perform repairs as needed.
  5. Trailer Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance on trailers, including checking tire pressure and brake systems.
  6. Test and Repair: Test equipment and systems to ensure they are functioning properly, and repair or replace as needed.
  7. Physical Demands: Work in a fast-paced environment, lifting up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally lifting 65 pounds from floor to shoulder level.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience as a diesel mechanic or trailer mechanic.
  2. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  3. Certifications: Must have HazMat, Cargo Tank, and Confined Space certifications.
  4. Physical Abilities: Must be able to pass a respiratory test with mask fit and maintain a clean-shaven face for mask requirements.
Compensation

Pay range: $20-$35 per hour depending on experience.
