Paver Mechanic Job DescriptionThe Sherwood Companies are seeking a skilled Paver Mechanic to join their team. As a Paver Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, adjusting, and repairing concrete pavers in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, and cylinders.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, motors, and controls.
- Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on pavers.
- Use diagnostic tools to identify issues in machinery and perform necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory of parts and supplies.
- High School or Degree or GED required.
- 2-3 years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
- Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, and lift heavy objects (50 lbs).
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to outdoor elements.
