Position Overview

This permanent role involves warmly welcoming and assisting all customers and visitors in a professional manner. The ideal candidate will efficiently handle inquiries at the showroom entrance or via the switchboard, ensuring a seamless experience for all.

As part of the Sytner Group since 2012, we represent multiple manufacturer brands across various dealerships. Our operations extend beyond vehicle sales to include leasing, repairs, and trade services, employing over 900 dedicated staff members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and visitors with a friendly demeanor.
  • Understand customer needs and direct them to the appropriate staff or management.
  • Manage incoming calls and inquiries efficiently.

Candidate Profile

To be considered for this role, applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a customer-facing role within a retail, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
  • Educational qualifications of at least GCSE level or equivalent, with a minimum grade C in both Maths and English.
  • Experience with telephony or switchboard operations is a plus.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a polished presentation.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Flexibility in working hours and days is essential.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary starting from £9.80 per hour, depending on experience. Additional benefits include a discounted vehicle purchase scheme, preferential rates for servicing and parts, discounts at various retailers, and exclusive rates for hotels and travel.
