Position Overview:
This role may be filled as an Engineer II, III, or Senior Engineer based on the qualifications of the selected candidate. The position is open to any location within Entergy's service areas, including Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, or Texas.

Job Summary:
Asset Management Engineers are responsible for overseeing programs related to all distribution assets. This includes, but is not limited to, the management of poles, equipment maintenance (such as reclosers, regulators, capacitors, transformers), underground and overhead maintenance and inspections, reliability assessments, and outage causal analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed engineering analyses to support distribution-related functions such as planning, maintenance, design, project management, and operations.
- Utilize engineering principles and best practices to devise cost-effective and technically sound solutions to various challenges.
- Evaluate alternatives and make informed decisions while adhering to applicable electrical codes, procedures, and standards.
- Collaborate with various disciplines within the Distribution organization and other business units to achieve common objectives.
- Participate in storm and emergency restoration efforts as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Discipline (typically Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or Industrial) from an accredited institution.
- Relevant experience: Engineer II - 2+ years; Engineer III - 4+ years; Senior Engineer - 6+ years.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Planning, Field, or Reliability Engineering.

Skills and Abilities:
- Strong application of engineering principles and good engineering judgment.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in project management and personal computer operations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to Entergy's safety policies and procedures.

Additional Information:
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- This position may require additional hours and duties during storms, outages, or emergencies.
