The Opportunity

You will play a critical role in supporting the Air Force's mission by applying your systems engineering and project management skills to deliver cutting-edge digital solutions. As a Mission Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and leading the evolution of complex systems, including command and control systems, networks, and cybersecurity solutions.

With a strong background in systems engineering and project management, you will lead a team of skilled technicians to deliver system interoperability, upgrade projects, and Agile development of project roadmaps. Your expertise in IT systems management, sustainment, and project implementation will be essential in ensuring the success of our clients' mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex systems, including command and control systems, networks, and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Manage the delivery of system interoperability, upgrade projects, and Agile development of project roadmaps.
  • Lead a team of skilled technicians to ensure the successful implementation of IT systems management, sustainment, and project implementation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects and programs.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in systems and network engineering and administration, or 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Secret clearance.
  • CompTIA Security+, or 8570 or 8140 Certification.
  • Experience with command and control (C2) systems sustainment.
  • Ability to lead teams performing IT systems management, sustainment, and project implementation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with air defense mission systems, including Battle Control System - Fixed (BCS-F), radars, EO/IR cameras, and AOC mission systems such as AFJS, AFFS, or ERSA.
  • Experience with RMF, ACAS, STIGS, and systems cyber hardening.
  • Knowledge of the Homeland Defense air defense mission set, and related policies, processes, and systems.
  • Knowledge of USAF best practices for hardware, software, and cybersecurity.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • CCNA, CASP, CISSP, ITIL, or similar Certification.
