Job Summary

Nuvance Health is seeking a highly skilled Hematology/Oncology Advanced Practitioner to join our team at New Milford Hospital in Connecticut. As a key member of our multidisciplinary cancer care team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our experienced physicians and staff to deliver comprehensive cancer treatment services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and education to patients and families affected by cancer
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans in consultation with our medical staff
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in hematology and oncology through ongoing education and professional development
Requirements
  • Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hematology and oncology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest advancements in hematology and oncology
