Cath Lab RN Coordinator Job Summary

The Cath Lab RN Coordinator is a registered nurse responsible for the effective management and coordination of interprocedural Cath Lab care. This role requires a strong understanding of Cath Lab procedures and the ability to provide direct patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Cath Lab and OR schedules
  • Manage supplies and inventory
  • Coordinate vendor representatives
  • Administer and train Cath Lab systems
  • Perform assessments, develop plans of care, and implement and evaluate care
  • Direct, monitor, and evaluate care delegated to non-licensed personnel
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a nursing program
  • Minimum of two years of recent Cath Lab Charge experience
  • Registered Nurse with current state licensure or licensure from a state within the Nursing Compact
  • BLS certification within 30 days of employment
  • ACLS certification within one year of employment
