Catheterization Laboratory Technologist Job Opportunity

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Job Summary

As a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical support in a fast-paced cath lab setting. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient lab operations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for cath lab procedures, including preparing and maintaining equipment, and assisting with patient positioning and care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely patient care.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, and report outcomes to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications as ordered, with accurate documentation and adherence to hospital policies.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest technologies and procedures.
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist, with a strong background in cath lab procedures and patient care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with the ability to obtain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification as needed.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment, with a strong physical stamina to work in a dynamic lab environment.
