Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and adapt to daily operations, interpret and execute provided instructions, and work reliably with professionalism in a medical office environment
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, visitors, and healthcare representatives to achieve healthcare goals
  • React calmly and effectively in emergency situations
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or a school accepted for candidacy status from an accrediting body
  • Current license to practice practical nursing in the State of Ohio
  • Additional related previous experience may be required for various practices
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and EMR
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
  • Maintains HIPAA confidentiality
  • Ability to travel between locations as needed within the medical group
  • Ability to obtain BLS within Summa Health
  • Must pass yearly clinical skill competencies
  • Required ability to handle bodily fluids and possible exposure to communicable disease
Physical Demands:
  • Exerts 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force continuously to move objects
  • Ability to bend, stand, and walk for extended time
Compensation:

$22.39/hr - $26.87/hr

The salary range on this job posting is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials
