Family Medicine Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Deforest Family Medicine. As a key member of our patient care team, you will provide high-quality care to our patients and work collaboratively with our physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel, ensuring that patient care is delivered in a safe and efficient manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellent patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical knowledge and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall quality of care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with multiple priorities.
- Ability to recognize and respond to urgent needs in a timely manner.
- 1-3 years of healthcare experience working in an ambulatory clinic setting.
- Knowledge of Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) System.
- Telephone triage experience.
- Prior knowledge or experience working with regulatory standards (e.g. CMS, Joint Commission).
