We are seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to join our team at Genoa Healthcare, a pharmacy care services company that is part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group's family of businesses.

Job Summary

The Per Diem Pharmacist will be responsible for processing prescriptions, providing information to customers about medications, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities
  • Distribute drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
  • Provide information to customers about medications and their use
  • Focus on providing a superior level of customer service
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
  • Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
  • Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
  • Current pharmacist license in state of Maryland
  • Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire
