Job Summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Telemetry team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to cardiac telemetry patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, identify potential cardiac arrhythmias, and take appropriate action to ensure patient safety.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses to medications and treatments.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.
  • Experience in cardiac telemetry or a related field is preferred.
