Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and Repair Plumbing Systems: Install and repair pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in commercial and industrial buildings.
  • Review Building Plans and Specifications: Review building plans and specifications to determine the layout for plumbing and related materials.
  • Identify Required Tools and Equipment: Identify the required tools and special equipment needed for the job.
  • Select and Install Pipe and Fittings: Select the size and type of pipe required for the job, locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures, and assemble and install valves and fittings.
  • Test and Maintain Plumbing Systems: Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks and install, repair, and maintain underground storm sanitary and water piping systems.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Experience: Must have at least 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing.
  • Backflow Certification: Backflow certification is a plus.
