Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized patient care in alignment with the Electrophysiology Technologist scope, utilizing imaging modalities effectively.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Perform invasive procedures alongside cardiologists or radiologists, ensuring adherence to radiation safety protocols.
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to emergencies, including initiating life support measures when necessary.
  • Document patient care accurately in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Maintain a sterile environment and prepare necessary equipment for procedures.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular or Radiologic Technology program or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical electrophysiology is preferred.
  • Certification as an ARRT Radiographer, Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist, or equivalent is required.
  • Basic Life Support certification is mandatory upon hire; Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is required within six months.
  • Comprehensive understanding of vascular anatomy and proficiency in monitoring vital signs using advanced clinical equipment.
  • Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations and after-hours call duties as assigned.
