Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington. As a key member of our echocardiography department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and special procedures ultrasonography in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform adult echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, and contrast studies
  • Use independent judgment to apply knowledge of clinical cardiology, acoustic imaging technology, and problem-solving skills to optimize the echocardiographic evaluation
  • Follow department imaging protocols and create digital preliminary reports for the interpreting physician
Requirements
  • Accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound program required (CAAHEP accredited program preferred)
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) required
  • Basic Life Support from American Heart Association or from American Red Cross
