Cross Country Nurses is actively seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for an exciting opportunity.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in the operating room, assisting with surgical procedures before, during, and after operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing the operating room, surgical instruments, and equipment.
- Assisting nurses and surgeons in maintaining sterile conditions.
- Managing surgical tools and equipment throughout the procedure.
- Cleaning the operating room post-surgery.
- Transporting patients to and from the surgical area.
Essential Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting.
- National Certification in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA).
- BLS Certification.
- Trauma experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous travel experience is a plus.
