Job Description

Sogeti, a leading provider of professional technology services, is seeking a Data Governance Specialist to assist the data governance team in the formation and execution of data governance framework, policy, and standards.

This position will assist in the implementation of an enterprise data governance program, ensuring the accuracy and quality of data through all upstream and downstream data channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop control structures to ensure data integrity
  • Provide thought leadership on data governance projects
  • Ensure controls are in place over applications
  • Coordinate the resolution of data integrity gaps
  • Work with business partners to gather and understand operational and functional requirements

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of data structures and data domains
  • Strong analytical and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate facilitation skills
  • Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, or related field
  • 3+ years Data Governance, data quality or similar level data analysis experience
  • 2+ years SQL and VBA experience
  • 1+ years financial services, insurance, healthcare experience
