Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Boiler Operator to manage the day-to-day operations of our Steam Heating Plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in boiler operation and maintenance, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling plant maintenance and outages, managing plant procurement, and ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the steam plants. Additionally, they will assist with the annual Business and Financial Planning efforts and approve employee timecards.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent as a minimum. Bachelor's or higher baccalaureate degree preferable.
  • Five years of work in a large, high pressure steam heating plant or in high pressure boiler operation. Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Chief Engineer Grade A stationary engineer's license, State of Minnesota.
  • Current and valid driver's license.
