Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Healogics, LLC. as a Wound Care Specialist. In this role, you will provide patient care and handle intake and discharge processes for our Wound Care Center patients. You will also have the opportunity to serve as a Case Manager to a group of assigned patients, performing initial nursing assessments, communicating with physicians, and documenting care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care to Wound Care Center patients and handle patient intake and discharge processes
  • Assist in vein clinic as assigned after completing Healogics Vein Clinic training
  • Serve as Case Manager to a group of patients, performing initial nursing assessments, communicating with physicians, and documenting care plans
  • Perform hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) related duties as assigned, upon completion of Healogics hyperbaric training
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers, Wound Care Center Providers, and the Program Director and Medical Director regarding clinic and patient needs
Requirements
  • Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Current RN license in the state of practice
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Medical Surgical, Home Health or Wound Care Certification preferred
  • Wound care experience preferred

  • Demonstrated competency in BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Demonstrated organization, prioritization, and time-management skills
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory/accrediting requirements for healthcare organizations
  • Strong interpersonal, listening, and oral and written communication skills
  • Customer service skills and follow-up skills
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Teaching skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to work on multiple tasks at the same time
  • Ability to work with others and in a team environment
Work Environment

This role will be based in a normal office environment with exposure to mechanical equipment, patient care environment, electrical current, proximity to moving objects, and exposure to hazards (blood-borne pathogens, body fluids, toxic chemicals, flammable explosive gases, etc.).

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $[insert range]. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications: education, experience, geography, as well as operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
