Role Summary
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with hiring managers and staffing coordinators to assess recruitment needs.
- Identifying potential candidates through various channels, conducting preliminary interviews via phone or in person, and coordinating interview schedules with hiring managers.
- Administering relevant assessments, verifying references, making hiring recommendations, and extending job offers.
- Utilizing both traditional and innovative recruitment methods, including career fairs, community events, and online platforms, to attract top talent.
- Developing and sustaining a robust candidate pipeline for current and future openings.
- Overseeing the internal transfer process, including candidate screening and interview coordination.
- Employing the applicant tracking system to monitor candidate progress and activities.
- Engaging with candidates and hiring managers to gather feedback on the recruitment process.
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to meet staffing objectives.
- Communicating essential employment details during the offer process, including benefits and compensation.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in collaboration with hiring managers.
- Managing application and resume records in accordance with company policies.
Minimum requirements for consideration:
- High School Diploma or GED (required); Associate degree in Business or HR (preferred).
- Up to two years of recruiting experience (preferred); however, we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Familiarity with Paycom, Microsoft Teams, One Drive, and Google Drive.
- Strong teamwork and adaptability skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and adept at problem-solving.
- Possession of a valid health certificate as per funding authority standards.
- A valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
- Compliance with criminal background checks as required by SJCS and funding authorities.
- The role involves standard physical demands with no unusual risks, except for the usual precautions associated with operating a vehicle.
- Exposure to challenging human behavior may occur.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds is necessary.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
The annual salary for this position is $50,000.
