Family Practice Associates of Lexington is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Duties: Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, take vital signs, prepare patients for procedures, and perform basic laboratory tests.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and communicate with patients and healthcare providers.
- Office Support: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, restock supplies, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
- Education: Graduate of a medical assisting program (certified in the respective program).
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well under stress, and fine motor skills for injections and other procedures.
- Physical Demands: Ability to sit, stand, and stretch repeatedly, as well as lift loads of less than 10 pounds.
