Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of loan servicing tasks, from minor to complex processes, to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Proactively identify issues or needed changes, recommend resolutions, and participate in quality improvement efforts.
- Take accountability for entire process from receipt of work to resolution and closure, ensuring coordination of information among various operational areas and customers.
- Utilize multiple system applications to manage loan files, resolve exceptions or corrections, and provide callback support to processors.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and excellent customer service to internal and external clients, actively cooperating and interacting with other departments to advance the overall interests of the bank.
- High school or GED degree required.
- 3 years of loan servicing experience required.
- Regulatory knowledge of Flood and/or Escrow Processing preferred.
- Experience in Fiserv Premier and Mortgage Electronic Registration System (MERS).
- Loan servicing experience, good understanding of loan terminology, and proficiency with both Word and Excel.
- Ability to work effectively with limited direct supervision, comprehend and interpret Bank policies and procedures, and demonstrate teamwork in facilitating workflow.
Mechanics Bank offers a competitive pay range of $28.00-$39.00 hourly, with a final compensation package determined by work experience, education, and/or skill level, along with internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.
