Your Role:
As a Service Technician, you will be essential in ensuring the correct installation and maintenance of our products and systems at customer locations.
This position demands technical proficiency, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong dedication to delivering top-notch service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Install and maintain products and systems at both commercial and residential sites.
2. Conduct tests and troubleshoot equipment to guarantee optimal performance.
3. Communicate effectively with customers to clarify installation procedures and address inquiries.
4. Provide ongoing technical support to customers during and after installations.
Training and Development:
1. Educate customers on the proper use and upkeep of installed products and systems.
2. Assist in training colleagues and other departments.
3. Keep accurate records of installations and troubleshooting activities, including photographic documentation.
4. Follow safe driving protocols and complete necessary vehicle inspections and maintenance.
Culligan Service Technicians spend significant time traveling to customer locations, performing on-site installations. This requires adaptability to various environments, including both indoor and outdoor settings, as well as diverse home conditions.
While you will be on the road during work hours, you will return to the dealership by the end of your shift.
Physical Requirements:
This role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand, kneel, bend, crawl, and lift heavy equipment weighing up to 100 lbs regularly.
We expect punctuality and reliability, as our customers depend on timely and consistent service.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driving record to be eligible for insurability to operate a company vehicle. You should be comfortable operating a commercial vehicle for approximately 8-10 hours daily.
