Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations and Maintenance Technician to join our team in Huber Heights, Ohio. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our water and wastewater collection systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain water mains and sanitary sewer mains
  • Perform routine cleaning and general housekeeping duties in work and plant areas
  • Collect water quality samples, test, and maintain collection records
  • Perform simple math calculations and troubleshoot customer issues
  • Other duties as assigned
Work Environment:

The work environment for this position is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our water and wastewater collection systems. You will be working both inside and outside, with exposure to all kinds of weather conditions.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Less than 2 years of experience in the water or wastewater industry or related fields
  • Strong reading, math, writing, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read, interpret, and record data from meters, gauges, scales, panels, computer consoles, and other equipment
Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position include standing, walking, climbing stairs, sitting, and manual dexterity. You must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and have the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
