The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, planning, designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating electronic and electrical systems and components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced modeling and analysis tools to develop product specifications, models, simulations, technical data packages, and integration and verification procedures.
  • Evaluate vendor capabilities, technologies, services, and their ability to deliver required products or services.
  • Work under minimal supervision of a project engineering lead to perform electrical system design on a variety of military systems, ranging from combat vehicles, gun systems, and guided munitions.
  • Provide detailed engineering analysis of components, subsystems, and systems for military product application.

Requirements:

  • High level analytical ability to solve complex technical design and development problems.
  • Ability to create and manage interface control documents and design documentation in accordance with applicable engineering standards, military specifications, and product requirements.
  • Experience with analog and digital circuit design and analysis.
  • Experience developing technical documentation – such as drawings, reports, and technical analysis.
  • Requires 4+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on troubleshooting of circuits using oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, PSpice, LabVIEW, Test Stand, RS485, J-Tag, CANBus.
  • Working knowledge of OrCAD and Visio.
  • Experience with engineering design of wiring harnesses and cable assemblies for military systems.
