Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Machinery Technician to join our team at United Ag & Turf. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for the set-up and assembly of various equipment, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist service technicians in the efficient operation of the department, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Perform pre-delivery inspections and prepare equipment for delivery to customers, adhering to manufacturer's instructions.
  • Operate and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment required for job responsibilities, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Document diagnostics and repairs performed on work orders, submitting information in a timely manner.
  • Participate in training programs to develop skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Valid Driver's license required.
  • Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
  • Ability to assemble machinery components and follow manufacturer's pre-delivery instructions.
  • Fundamental knowledge of engines, hydraulics, power-trans, air-conditioning, and electrical systems as they apply to machines marketed by United Ag & Turf.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 lbs.
