Performs pre-delivery inspections and prepares equipment for delivery to the customer. United Ag & Turf strives for exceptional customer experience throughout all our locations and departments including parts, sales, service, and transportation.PurposeResponsible for set-up and assembly of all types of equipment offered for sale by the dealership. Performs pre-delivery inspections and prepares equipment for delivery to the customer. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager, Service Location Manager, Shop Foreman or senior technicians.ResponsibilitiesThe following are essential functions of this position:Assists the Service Manager and technicians in the efficient operation of the departmentCleans, organizes and maintains the condition of shop, vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipmentAssists service technicians as needed, including delivery of partsAssists service technicians with repairing, servicing and moving equipmentAccountable for billable time and assigned work ordersResponsible for complete and thorough documentation of diagnostics and repairs performed on work orders and on time submittal of information.May participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledgeOperates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilitiesMaintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashionFollows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignmentsBenefits include:Competitive Salary plus bonus401K Match$1,000 Annual Tool AllowanceHealth BenefitsPaid Holidays and Paid Time Off100% Paid Uniforms*Under the American with Disabilities Act, an employee must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation, as well as possess the skills, experience, education and other job-related requirements necessary for the position. Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 lbs.Preferred Education or ExperienceFork lift certification.Eligibility RequirementsEmployee must provide their own tools that will be necessary to complete assigned jobs.
