Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and support to our patients undergoing dialysis treatment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care and support to patients undergoing dialysis treatment
- Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs and patient observations
- Set up and operate hemodialysis machines, as well as perform other technical duties as required
- Build long-term relationships with patients and their families, providing education and support on kidney dialysis-related topics
- Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, and social workers, to provide comprehensive patient care
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be comfortable working around blood and needles
- Must be comfortable mixing acid or bicarb
- Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet
- Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed
- Competitive hourly rate: $33.00/hour
