Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team at a leading manufacturing company in Los Angeles County. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling micro-electronic and electro-mechanical parts according to J-STD and IPC 610 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembly of micro-electronic and electro-mechanical parts
  • Builds prototype and production assemblies from verbal, written directions, prototype, and/or production documents
  • Performs a variety of tasks that use soldering iron, crimpers, pliers, wrenches, and other hand tools
  • May perform training and provide assistance to other co-workers

Requirements:

  • Motivated individual with a fast learning curve and ability to work independently
  • Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
  • Understanding of manufacturing documentation (Bill of Materials, Assembly Drawings, Travelers)
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Knowledge in J-Std, IPC-610 Standards, and ISO 9000
  • At least 5 years of experience in microelectronics

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
  • Ability to sit for an extended period
  • Ability to work using a microscope
