Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess a minimum of seven (7) years of advanced IT experience, specifically in network security.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation, including occasional after-hours responsibilities.
  • Experience in a healthcare or HIPAA-compliant setting is highly desirable.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, Security+, or equivalent are preferred.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or seven (7) years of equivalent professional experience is required.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in securing Microsoft M365, Azure, and various commercial cloud infrastructures.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows client/server architecture, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and SCCM.
  • Experience with next-generation firewalls, IDS/IPS, and threat management solutions, including software-based and virtual firewalls.
  • Knowledge of enterprise networking, TCP/IP, routing and switching, dynamic routing protocols, IPAM, and hardening of network devices.
  • Experience with email security and web filtering technologies.
  • Competence in vulnerability scanning and patch management practices.
  • Experience in implementing and securing remote access technologies, such as Citrix Access Gateway and IPSec VPN.
  • Familiarity with next-generation antivirus, EDR/XDR, and endpoint security enhancements.
  • Knowledge of securing virtualized environments, hypervisors, and application virtualization solutions (e.g., Citrix).
  • Experience with encryption technologies, PKI, SSL/TLS, and Microsoft Certificate Services.
  • Understanding of identity management and authentication protocols, including RADIUS and TACACS.
  • Experience with SIEM, log management, and event correlation.
  • Proficient in incident management and response strategies.
  • Experience leading security assessments and risk evaluations.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, COBIT, HITRUST, and MITRE.
